Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Children of Mana for the Nintendo DS, from Square-Enix. Released in 2006, this was the first game in the Mana series for the Nintendo DS, and the first game in the World of Mana project. You can choose one of four characters to dungeon crawl your way through this action-rpg reminiscent of the prior Secret of Mana, hacking and slashing monsters with a variety of weaponry and magical attacks. The gameplay is a bit repetitive and linear at times, but it can still get addictive, and the presentation is very well executed with gorgeous graphics and charming character design.
