For the first time, there is a confirmed case of cholera in one of the camps housing earthquake survivors around Haiti's capital.

With thousands of people living packed together in unhygienic conditions, the development is one officials had been fearing ever since the epidemic began three weeks ago.

The disease has already killed 643 people, with thousands more treated.
