THE FIRST EVER CLASSIC GAME ROOM - Classic Game Room season 1. November 7th, 1999. You are Solid Snake in a virtual reality environment shooting bad guys, criminals and terrorists. This is Metal Gear VR Missions for the Sony Playstation 1. This is a landmark episode because it is the first Classic Game Room ever recorded back in November of 1999. This was originally a 2 part review with the 2nd part being Driver (which is posted on here). Now that we're all excited for MGS4 for the Playstation 3 PS3 this should be a good blast from the past with this review of Metal Gear Virtual Reality Missions showing the gameplay and strategy used in the game. So until we fire up Metal Gear Solid 4, check out Metal Gear VR Missions on PS1. By the way, we do have the NES version of Metal Gear on tap for later this year in the Classic Game Room HD series. Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Classic Game Room HD marked the return of the series in 2008. The original Classic Game Room reviewed Atari, NES, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast and Playstation... too bad they didn't get to Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 or Wii. Now Classic Game Room HD is covering the new systems.
