Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Shadows of the Damned from Grasshopper Manufacture and Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 3. Shadows of the Damned is also available for the Xbox 360. Shadows of the Damned is an over the shoulder third person shooter, another in a string of games that are all the rage and fittingly date back to Resident Evil 4. This is a familiar game for anyone who has played a Shinji Mikami title before. With little more than a gun and a motive, you're thrown into a horrific world where demons hide in the shadows...and unfortunately, there isn't much light. Shadows of the Damned starts with a decidedly Resident Evil foundation, but the game's bold style is characteristically Suda 51, as is the off kilter humor. For example, Garcia Hotspur's only weapon...is his Johnson. This video review features video gameplay footage of Shadows of the Damned for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
