The Grammys will remain a little shorter next year - at least the awards part. A lawsuit filed against the Recording Academy over its decision to trim the awards categories has been dismissed. The Academy announced last April that it had decided to trim its categories by 31. Categories are longer arranged by sex, so men and women must compete with each other.

Kelly Rowland will not return as a judge on the UK's version of "X Factor." The former Destiny's Child singer released a statement saying that participating in the show was a great opportunity, but she cannot fit the job into her schedule this year.

Finally, Robert Redford received the royal treatment in London, as the screen legend met with Prince Charles. The two walked a red carpet together at Redford's new London-edition of his Sundance Film Festival.
