Yes, it's true that a game for children usually has the benefit of grading curve. And yes, it's true that helps this game quite a bit. But it's also true that Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension isn't all that bad. This is a kids game based on the Disney property Phineas and Ferb. That means it's got simple combat, simple collecting, simple platforming...all crammed into a simple third person action game. And in this case, simple doesn't necessarily denote terrible. In fact, the game does a lot of things right.
