Hugo Chavez, the Venezulan president, has told Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that their two countries should "join to defeat imperialism". Chavez is on a tour to try and forge links to counter the worldwide dominance of America. Al Jazeera's Alireza Ronaghi reports that the meeting has been welcomed by Iranians.
