Bejeweled 3 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Bejeweled 3 from PopCap Games for the Nintendo DS. Bejeweled 3 is the quintessential match three puzzler. The idea is to switch one jewel at a time to make matches of three. That's it. From there, you can chain combinations together and earn power ups, but the gameplay never evolves beyond matching jewels. It's immediately accessible, which is one of the reasons Bejeweled has always had such broad mainstream appeal. We've reviewed the Xbox 360 version, and for the most part, it's the same on the Nintendo DS. Obviously, there are inherent differences due to their platforms, so for example, Xbox and PS3 owners get gorgeous HD graphics and Nintendo DS owners get portability and touch control.
