You can't please all of the people all of the time, and no series underlines this more than Sonic the Hedgehog. Some love the new direction adopted by the Sonic Adventure games. Some loathe the difficult control and long for the rock-solid, run-right-as-fast-as-you-can heyday of the series. Sonic Generations attempts to blend these two styles together, and it only took a massive temporal anomaly to do so.
