STORY: The original Batman - Adam West - received the 2,468th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (April 05). The television icon was on hand to accept the honor. His career has spanned 50 years, beginning with the 1959 movie "The Young Philadelphians," opposite Paul Newman. He achieved international stardom, however, when he was signed to play the famed caped crusader in 1965 - starting what would eventually become a billion dollar franchise of movies, cartoons, and toys.
