Fossil Fighters: Champions review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Fossil Fighters: Champions from Red Entertainment and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. Fossil Fighters: Champions is a follow up to the 2009 game Fossil Fighters. This is basically a Pokémon clone for kids who prefer pachys to pikas. People have figured a way to clone dinosaurs using fossils. This, of course, leads to dinosaur battles that involve anime people throwing a thing to unleash their dinosaur and taking turns to attack. Because, you know, Pokésaurus. But battling is just part of the process. First, you have to find fossils to revive. And you find fossils by going out and digging them up. You can use a radar to locate, a pick axe to excavate and a scientific chamber to regenerate the great beast...that is, after you clean the fossil first. And then Michael Crichton comes in, computers, Mr. DNA and poof! A dinosaur is born. This video review features video gameplay footage of Fossil Fighters: Champions for the Nintendo DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
