Matt Cutts, the head of Google’s anti-search engine spam department, recently announced at South by Southwest (SXSW) that Google’s next algorithm update will specifically target sites that over-do their SEO.The announcement was made during a panel called “Dear Google & Bing: Help Me Rank Better,” which was attended by both Google’s Cutts and Bing’s Duane Forrester, as well as Danny Sullivan from Search Engine Land.
