Pac-Mania review. CGRundertow presents a video game review of Pac-Mania on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Pac-Man and his pill-munching chomper take over the NES with pseudo-3D boards, a new bounce move, and new special items that improve his performance. You know, he goes faster. This is one of those unlicensed NES games that Atari/Tengen brought over from Namco, and exists on both a standard grey cart, and the more common black Tengen cart. Overall, Pac-Mania is a fun and challenging game, but lacks the Waka-Waka charm we saw in the first Pac-Man arcade title. It's better than the Atari 2600 Pac-Man, but not as fun as newer Pac titles like Pac-Man Arrangement. This CGRundertow review features gameplay footage of Pac-Mania on the NES, and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Jonathan.
