Cameron reaches ocean trench, Madonna upsets with drug reference

James Cameron has successfully completed the world's first solo dive to the deepest-known point on Earth, reaching the bottom of the Mariana Trench in a specially designed submarine. The director described the 7-mile deep point as a desolate, almost lunar landscape.

Madonna made a surprise appearance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, but the singer's performance has been overshadowed by a drug reference she made while addressing the crowd. Madonna asked the audience, "how many people in this crowd have seen Molly?" - Molly is known as slang for MDMA, the active chemical in ecstasy. Madonna's new album title uses a play on the drug: MDNA.

The man who hacked into the email accounts of Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis and Christina Aguilera has pleaded guilty to unauthorized computer access, wiretapping and other felony charges. Christopher Chaney faces up to 60 years in prison.

Simon Cowell had a scary weekend after a woman broke into his London home wielding a broken brick. Cowell discovered the woman after hearing a noise coming from his bathroom. He said the incident was "something out of a horror film." The woman has been charged with aggravated burglary.

Speaking of Cowell, his pool for the list of "X Factor" judges for the next U.S. season has shrunk by one. Fergie said that there were talks of her joining the show, but she said she has no interest right now, as she wouldn't have the time to devote to it.
