Body of soldier slain in Toulouse arrives in Morocco

The body of a French paratrooper killed by a gunman in Toulouse was returned to his family in Morocco on Saturday (March 24).

Imad Ben Ziaten was killed on March 11 - one of three soldiers of North African origin who were gunned down by Mohamed Merah.

Ziaten's remains were to be buried later on Sunday in the Mediterranean town of M'diq.

Merah, a French citizen of Algerian origin, carried out three deadly shootings within 10 days before he was identified, located and killed.

His victims included three Jewish children, a rabbi and the three soldiers of North African origin.
