Peyton Manning has been meeting with teams as a free agent following his release from the Indianapolis Colts.

The Super Bowl-winning quarterback sat down with Broncos vice president John Elway in Denver on Friday. Though no deal was brokered, a source within the organization called the meeting "productive." Of course, Manning coming to play at Mile High would add more drama to the already epic Tim Tebow saga, throwing the inspiring upstart quarterback's future in Denver into jeopardy once again.

The results of Manning's meeting with Arizona Cardinals officials two days later were just as inconclusive. Reports say Manning spoke with members of the Cardinals' front office and "spent a few hours" with Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Like in Denver, the prospect of Manning is complicated. The Cardinals have already committed money to quarterback Kevin Kolb and is about to commit even more — $7 million to be exact — as part of contractual bonus.

Most recently, Manning met with representatives from the Miami Dolphins back in Indianapolis, and he is thought to be entertaining an invitation from the Tennessee Titans.
