Injured French journalist Edith Bouvier and photographer William Daniels arrived in back in France on Friday after being trapped in the besieged Syrian city of Homs.

A plane carrying the pair landed at the Villacoublay military airbase just outside Paris where they were greeted by French President Nicolas Sarkozy after spending the night in a Lebanese hospital.
