Hailing from Barrie and Montreal, respectively, Inlet Sound's Sean Hardy and Michael Wexler have been playing the Southern Ontario music scene since January 2009. The boys came together as a musical duo in their second year of University, living under the same uninsulated roof in their mold-infested student home.

In only a few months, they played at numerous venues across the Hamilton region, headlining multiple times at the well-known Casbah and Casbah Lounge as well as the eclectic Ford Plant music hall in Brantford, Ontario. The boys have currently released their first self-titled independently produced EP of 9 tracks. They have spent the last few months away from the stage, working on the final touches of the EP as well as focusing on dreams of music videos and additional songs for a potential LP.

This summer, the band grew with the addition of guitarist/bassist Ian Russell, mandolinist/violinist Steven Gore, and percussionist Matt Cramp. Their sound blends Decemberists-inspired vocals with warm acoustic tones and piano riffs reminiscent of artists like the Hold Steady, the Weakerthans and Wintersleep. Needless to say, they are jumping full-swing into the gig-arena, having just played a show at Toronto's Mod Club with their new 5 piece live band, ready to make feet tap and faces light up.
