The Health district of Diebougou in the south west of Burkina Faso is a permanent malaria transmission zone. 40,000 nets were distributed just before the peak malaria season to achieve blanket coverage of all sleeping spaces in 69 villages. The health wards being targeted were: Bamako, Bapla, Bondigui, Communal, Dankoble, Diassara, Niceo and Tioyo.
