Lindsay was facing up to a year in the slammer for repeated drug usage while on probation, but was mercifully spared jail time and instead must return immediately to rehab back out in Palm Springs. The judge says "there is a reason" why she must stay there until at least January 3rd...but we suspect it's so she's not tempted to party over Xmas and New Year's. Get well, girlfriend!
