Joey Ryan is a young musician from Enniscorthy, Wexford in Ireland. Previosly working in other musical outfits such as South-east metal band, Cronus, Joey started his persuing his love for acoustic music from a more roots based background. His first album. 'Hope in razorbeams' was released in 2008 and did well locally. It was Joey's first collection of music he had written on his acoustic guitar and reflected his favourite artists at the time. After selling out all printed copies of HIR, playing gigs on local circuits and shows around Ireland a new sound was emerging that sounded original and exciting Joined by a backing band, a more tangled sound of rock/roots and blues was emerging. ..
