The British Sunday Times reported on Sunday that President-elect Barack Obama will support the 2002 Arab Peace Plan according to which Israel would withdraw to its 1967 borders in exchange for full peace and normalization with all Arab states. The newspaper claims Obama told Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas that quote unquote the Israelis would be crazy not to accept this initiative. The newspaper said Obama expressed the sentiments during his visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories last July. 11/16/08
