Zev Brauda, the settler from Kiryat Arba who is suspected of shooting at two Palestinians after the eviction of the disputed house in Hebron, was placed under house arrest on Wednesday. The Judge presiding over the case harshly criticized police behavior in the incident calling them extremely lenient towards Palestinians involved in the confrontation. The judge pointed out that no Palestinians involved in the violence were arrested by police, while it was clear Zev Brauda had almost been lynched. 12/10/08
