Ahmadinejad calls to liberate Palestine

Palestine will one day be liberated Iranian President Mahmoud Ahamdinejad told students in New York. The Iranian president also called on the United States to stop supporting the "Zionist regime." The Palestinians problem will not be solved by dialogue with Israel he declared claiming Israel was established in a bid to extend dominance over the Middle East. The officials Iranian news agency IRNA published details of the president's statements on its Web site. Meanwhile on the eve of Ahamdinejad's address at the U.N. General Assembly, the Islamic Republic agreed to release two American hikers after two years in prison.The Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said paid $1 million for each hiker to ensure their freedom. Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer arrived in Oman where they were greeted by their families. The Sultan of Oman also paid $1 million for the third American hiker Sarah Shourd who was released last year.
