Steve Jobs denies Israeli radiation measuring application

Israeli start-up Tawkon Ltd, which makes a mobile application that measures cellular phone radiation, has been blocked from releasing its app for iPhone. The company instead released its application for unlocked "jailbroken" iPhones. Tawkon developed an application for measuring radiation emitted by mobile phones in real time. The company also developed versions of the application for Android-based devices, and Blackberries. Tawkon had hoped to obtain Apple's approval to sell the application at Apple's App Store, but Apple CEO Steve Jobs personally rejected the request. Job's response to an appeal by Tawkon CEO Gil Friedlander was simply, "No Interest."
