In response to the death of a 33 year old and man another 35 year old man being hospitalized at intensive care, both caused by the flu Virus, the health ministry has called for the public to vaccinate themselves against the seasonal flu as well as the swine flu. Though this year's vaccine includes the H1N1 strain, which aroused much concern last year, it appears as though most Israelis are passing out on the free of charge opportunity. The ministry stresses the potential danger caused by flu complications which could lead to death and urges all citizens starting at the age of six months and up to get immunized, especially those who suffer from chronic illnesses.
