Israel's prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu declared on Sunday, December 19th that even if there will be peace between Israelis and Palestinians, criticism against Israel's legitimacy will always be upheld. Netanyahu stated that his government will always seek for peace though it doesn't matter which policy Israel's government should take upon itself, criticism will always be headed towards Israel, for the attacks are not directed towards Israel's legitimacy, but towards the existence of the state of Israel in general. He also stated that there can be no better evidence to this problem than the fact that throughout history, the attacks have intensified mainly when Israel used its fundamental right to self defense.
