Turkey's Government has recently drafted a new policy to ease land purchase for foreign nationals. However, Israelis and Greeks are not allowed to be among those who can buy Turkish lands. Moreover, citizens of Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Golf Arab states can buy as much Turkish land as they can afford, while all other citizens are restricted to a limited amount of land. Turkey's Housing and Infrastructure ministry consolidated this law in order to attract foreign investments since the country's real estate is under deficit of approximately 45 billion dollars.
