Yesterday evening, the producers of Israel's Nitzanim Rock Festival announced it was being cancelled. this morning however a very prominent line up was being announced for the second Tel Aviv Music Festival, that will be held on the streets of the city between 20 and 30 October. The venues will include clubs and bars as well as the institute for stage artists, the Kamari Theatre and the Tel Aviv Museum. The first festival last year drew 20,000 visitors and this year organisers are expecting a similar number, and the festival promises to profile a new generation of songwriters and musicians.
