After 13 days of being held captive in Iran, 15 British soldiers were suddenly released wednesday night by President Ahmadinejad.  His decision surprised the world, as he personally chatted and smiled with the soldiers before they departed his country.  Their release ended a flurry of diplomatic activity conducted by Britain and the U.S.
