As violent clashes between rival clans affiliated with Hamas and Fatah rage in the Gaza Stip, Chairman Abbas tours Europe in an attempt to gain support for a Palestinian unity government which would include Hamas.  Hamas political Chief Khaled Meshal threatened a third uprising if progress is not made toward lifting the international economic embargo on the Palestinian Authority.
