Nobel Peace Prize winner Martti Ahtisaari urged US President-elect Barack Obama on Wednesday to start his term by giving "high priority" to the Middle East conflict, calling it the world's most challenging peace-building project. The Finnish diplomat insisted that all conflicts could be settled and said he did not believe that the decades of violence between Israelis and Palestinians would continue on indefinitely. He urged the world to stop pretending to help the situation in the Middle-East and deliver real results. 12/10/08
