India Arrests Two Suspects, One Reportedly An Undercover Pol

Indian police officials announced the arrest of two suspects who are believed to have supplied the Mumbai terrorists with sim cards for their mobile phones. The terrorists used mobile phones to keep in touch with each other and their handlers in Pakistan during the three day rampage that left 173 dead and scores wounded. The two were named Tousif Rahman and Sheikh Ahmed  on Friday and wer charged with fraud and conspiracy  after investigators traced some of the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards recovered from the gunmen. Ahmed is reportedly a counterinsurgency police officer who was working undercover.12/07/08
