After consulting with security officials, Defense Minister Ehud Barak decided on Monday afternoon that Israel will not resume shipments of fuel to the Gaza Strip and crossings to the territory will remain closed. The decision was made as a response to a continued rocket barrage on the western Negev. The opening of the crossings and resumption of shipments to the Strip will be discussed on Monday evening in another round of consultations with security officials. 11/10/08
