Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Thursday that in order to conclude a peace deal with Israel, Syria must renounce its ties with Teheran and Iranian backed Hizbullah and Hamas if progress is to be made. Livni met with Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner in Jerusalem on Thursday where the two discusses the issues at hand. Kouchner opted to talk about the situation in Lebanon.05/22/08
