Iran, Syria and Hizbullah are all united in their aim to wipe Israel off the map. The assassination of Hizbullah's commander Imad Mugniyah has only served to heighten their intent. Israel meanwhile has placed its embassies and intistutions abroad on alert, and the IDF has also stepped up its level of alert along the northern border. Whether Syria, Iran and Hizbullah unite to plot what they call a "fitting" response to Mugniyah's assassination remains to be seen.
