Romanian folklore creations are all Romanian spiritual culture. The term refers to ethnic Romanian-speaking productions in all its dialects (mostly Daco, and Romanian, and Istro-Romanian Megleno) reported within the Romanian borders. Following the thread of history, folklore creations in Romania includes pre-assigned ethnic Romanian population (Thracian-Dacians and alleged proto-Romanian, where there are no historical sources showing a population north of the Danube in the early Middle Ages until the millennium two of the Christian era).
