As Facebook has joined forces with Microsoft's Bing, Google is yet again trying to gain a foothold in the social networking world with Google+. One of the biggest complaints about Facebook is the inability to separate your friends and acquaintances. What is suitable for your college buddies isn't always suitable for mom. With Google+users sort their friends and acquaintances into different circles that are separated from each other to prevent awkward oversharing. Perhaps to build buzz, membership in Google+ for now is by invitation only.
