These cars with defected engines were made between July 2005 and august 2008. The geographical breakdown is as follow: 138,000 from the U.S., 4,000 from Canada, 15,000 from Europe, 6,000 from China and more. Toyota has had 8.5 million vehicles recalled since October of last year.
