The conductor of a high-speed train has been fired after falling asleep on the job. Taiwan's high-speed rail reaches speeds of 190 miles per hour. The driver dozed off after taking sleeping pills. Train controllers noticed the driver did not appear to be touching the controls and took immediate steps.
