Teen sensation Miley Cyrus was caught swearing at a fan on holiday in Costa Rica on Wednesday (December 21).
The former Disney star was recognized by a group of young girls as she was making her way to a waiting helicopter with Australian boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
As the pair tried to excuse themselves from eager fans, one teenager is heard heckling the superstar (UP SOUND)
The provoked singer is then heard mumbling that they are "on vacation".
Following the heated exchange, Cyrus graciously posed and signed autographs with other young fans waiting at the helicopter.
The event is the latest in a string of controversies to taint the once squeaky-clean reputation of the teen star.
Cyrus defended her outburst on Twitter writing, "I can't tolerate that kind of rudeness."
