Lily Cole reflects on the safety, peace and hope that camps provide Burmese refugees on the Thai-Burmese border where 145,000 Burmese ethnic nationality people are currently seeking refuge from fighting, violence and human rights abuses in eastern Burma. Refugees have been crossing the border since 1984 but conflict in eastern Burma has been continuing for more than 60 years.
