On Monday 14 November 2011, Christian Aid held a special reception at the Foundling Museum in London to celebrate the achievements of the In Their Lifetime appeal. Poverty can be ended. But at Christian Aid we know realising this vision is only possible with radical shifts in mindset, behaviour and funding. In 2008, Christian Aid launched the In Their Lifetime appeal specifically to develop innovative and imaginative solutions for combating poverty. So far we have launched six ground-breaking In Their Lifetime projects in Africa, Asia and South America . The reception was a key opportunity to hear more about the programme's impact so far and future plans for this special area of work. Guests had the chance to engage with Christian Aid's directors and specialist country staff and hear first-hand about how In Their Lifetime is transforming the lives of so many people.
