Today we are going to be talking about choosing colors for fabrics in your decorating projects. Some examples of a monochromatic color scheme would be using three shades of blue. Here is an example of three different blues. This would be a very soothing palate to use in decorating a room. Another example would be choosing these three gold colors. We have got the dark, the medium and the light. That would also be very nice. These are the warm colors. The blues are the cooler colors; you can see the big contrast. If you wanted to do a complementary color scheme, you could incorporate these two, the blues and the yellows. Those look very good together. Monochromatic in the reds and oranges would be the red, orange and the gold. These are warm colors, very beautiful together.
