Bhushandeshwara Shiva temple is one of the famous Shiva temples all over the world. This is the largest Shiva Lingam in Asia. The priests climb a huge ladder to pour milk on the Lingam as the daily rituals. The 300 ft Lingam is the main attraction of the temple. The temple is calm and serene as ever and you can actually feel your mind concentrating into deep spirituality by the magnetic power of the Lord.
If you are looking or a serene atmosphere while spending your holidays, Talsari (Orissa) is the right place for you. A 45-minutes of 'bhotbhoti'(local vehicle) from Digha will take you to this beautiful beach. Unlike Digha, (West Bengal) you can enjoy the beauty of both river bank and sea beach. The sunset and sunrise views are worth watching and appreciating. Here, the river 'Subornorekha' meets Bay of Bengal and forms an island. tourists can enjoy bike-ride on this beach island paying a nominal fee of Rs.50.
