A cargo train ploughed into a bus full of children in Argentina killing at least eight people.
Six children between the ages of 10 to 12 and one adult died at the scene.
A further child died later in hospital.
They were heading to a religious retreat when the accident happened, near the small settlement of Zanjitas.
The local mayor said it was an upsetting scene.
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) JORGE ANTUNEZ, MAYOR OF ZANJITAS, SAYING:
"The truth is that the children were in a terrible state of shock and the first thing we tried to do was calm them down and transfer them to the hospital, because most of them had injuries, some serious."
Local news outlets said 45 people were injured.
Train accidents in Argentina are common, mostly around the capital Buenos Aires.
