In the '30s, it was the only plane to win the Bendix and Thompson Trophies in the same year. Today, it's an easy-to-assemble electric for intermediates who have a taste for scale looks. The clean, aerodynamic shape is a combination of painted fiberglass and MonoKote® film over a wood airframe. Elevators and wing surfaces are prehinged for ease, and flaps can be built fixed or functional — your choice. Other pluses include blister detail and a replica detail on the cowl, a painted windscreen, decals and more. At 52.5" span, it's sized right for easy carrying and solid handling in a breeze — and with the recommended brushless system onboard, it's a solid performer at all times.
