Libyans come out onto the streets of Tripoli to celebrate reports of deposed leader Muammar Gaddafi's death.
National Transitional Council (NTC) officials said Gaddafi had been captured and wounded in his hometown of Sirte.
A senior NTC military official later said he had died of his wounds.
Drivers beeped horns and people waved Libya independence flags as hundreds took to the streets to celebrate.
