Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang will be visiting North and South Korea in succession next week.
Li will visit North Korea for three days, followed by a two-day visit to South Korea. The two Koreas are a difficult issue for the Chinese regime, who maintains relationships with both countries. China remains North Korea's sole economic and political ally, while South Korea is a much more valuable trading partner.
Meetings are slated to be held between the countries on bilateral as well as international issues, namely Pyongyang's expressed intent to resume six-party nuclear disarmament talks.
