http://www.FTV.com/videos - As flamingos are displayed on a big screen, the Bally presentation for the Men Spring/Summer 2012 collection is about to begin. The mood of the collection is 1951, when the heir of Bally out of a hotel in Paris and he decided he wanted to produce a beautiful, virtually handmade product with the best construction available in the shoe market, says one of the creative directors for the brand. The creative directors for Bally are Graeme Fidler and Michael Herz. The men who are modeling the moccasin-like shoes in luxurious fabrics have a decidedly 50s air about them. "He was traveling a lot and apparently he paid a visit to the Florida Keys, where we took the inspiration of some of our imagery," says Graeme Fidler, "The message is lightweight, travel, and very 1950s." Shoes are polished and sporty flats and some leather flip flops.
